These are our medical activities during 2019. Some began earlier than 2019, but require additional help during 2019. For example, some children we began helping last year continue to receive chemotherapy.

Dylan Infant with twisted hand.Dylan Eden Martinez Paz

When born at the public hospital there were complications and I did not get enough oxygen to my brain. My right hand is twisted, but after tests the doctors determined that this can be fixed with surgery.

My mother Lucia works in a factory and my father, Pedro, works in construction. They earn $800 USD per week, but the cost of my surgery is far beyond their ability to pay.

Jan 28, 2019--Examination at Ejeza Hospital

Doctors advised that a specialist is required for this surgery. Because this is not a life threatening emergency,we are reaching out to various sources and medical experts. We must raise a considerable amount of money before moving forward with surgery. We've also reached out to Shiners Hospital for help.

I was born three months early! The hospital in Acuna had no doctor available and the nurses insisted mommy's water had not broken because it was too early.
After several trips back to the hospital they gave her permission to go to a hospital in another city where a doctor was available. It was a long drive and when I was born that doctor scolded mommy for not getting to the hospital sooner. The doctors pronounced me dead! As they were covering me with a sheet, I began to breathe!

I have a psychological disabilities, a problem with my sight, and I can't walk.

Dylan Infant with twisted hand.Luis

My name is Luis. On May 19, 2017 I was born with two club feet. My feet are severely twisted. Although every doctor knows that treatment should begin within a few weeks after birth, the public hospital does not provide such help.

In June of 2018 Paper Houses found me and since then I've tried splints, a plaster application, but really need surgery.
