New Schools-Old Friends |
We are now helping two more schools and we made a visit to the
Divine Providence shelter for the aged. At one school, there are many
children with Downs Syndrome. |

Miscellaneous |
The downside of this charity is we do not have employees and
you will probably not receive letters from the children, photographs,
and you will not hear very much from us. We put the money where it is
needed. |

City of Houston employees
can give $5 a pay through payroll deduction and do amazing things.
A child will be in school because of that donation. A child will receive
medical care or an elderly woman will have water delivered. Enough
beans, rice, flour and cooking oil to sustain family for two weeks will
be purchased. |

We make the 6-hour drive once a month and walk the streets. We
do not simply mail your money to a 'good person' running a shelter. We
are there. We work with local families and bring Houston teens and
families to work in the colonias and understand what it means to live in
a place like Houston. |
