When Juan was born with Apert syndrome, doctors in Mexico told his family he would never walk, hear, or speak. Today, at four years old, he runs, talks, laughs, and has just will soon be in pre-school.

Because his fingers are fused together, Juan cannot hold a pencil, crayons, or classroom tools. A specialized hand surgery could give him the ability to write, draw, and fully participate in school.

Your gift can help this bright little boy walk into his classroom with open hands, ready to learn.
